Welcome to Inmenszo

Study and projects for orphan children in Cusco, Peru.

“The last week of my voluntary work in Cusco (Peru) was one with many tears… you know me. I was very busy arranging my affairs. Many hugs and a fantastic farewell followed. The kids even performed a special dance for me and sang two songs. Leaving the little ones behind was very difficult for me. I cuddled them as much as I could and the question on their faces was the same every time… When are you coming back?”

At that time, I had already decided that I wanted to contribute to a better and independent future for all the children (young and old) in Cusco and the surrounding areas. That is the reason I went back to Peru once again in May 2006 where I talked to some people about the study guidance projects for older children which were virtually nonexistent at that moment. The little children are taken care of and schooled but after the age of 18, they have to make it on their own. After two visits to Peru, I was convinced that I wanted to guide the older children too and support them in finding the proper education and appropriate jobs.

That is the reason why the foundation Inmenszo (Spanish for infinitely) was realized very quickly after I returned to the Netherlands. It is my wish to make this foundation an infinite success in co-operation with you, not for myself but for “my” children.
